Matthew 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord', will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord,Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter thrugh the narrow gate, wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. BUT small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it."

We each have our individual 9-11's, (trials) and in the midst of them,
You, GOD, can teach us.
God is Soverign:
1.Doctrine is essential, especially in difficult times.
God doesn't owe us an explanation, He's God, He's in control,
He spoke the world into existance.
It's the Isaiah 6 moment for each of us...."Woe to me" when we
begin to see, God for who he is.
2. Things are temporary; James 4:15-16 "instead you ought to say,"If it is
the Lord's will we will live and do this or that. As it is you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil."
(write your plans in pencil and remember God has the eraser.....)
3. FACT. Romans 8:28 " God works all things together for good , for those who love him and are called according to HIS purpose."

Sometimes the Lord takes away our security to make us look to HIM.

Review reasons for obedience:
Obedience is a duty to be performed, We "ought " to obey
God wants your obedience, disobedience is in iniquity, (sin),
puts you on the same side as the devil. It's like putting your
fist up to God, and saying , my will, not your will God.
What is an idol? Anything you love more, honor more, seek out
more than God.
Obedience is a debt to be paid ACts 5;29-31
1 John 4: 10"This is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us
and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."
Obedience is a decision to be practiced, you can choose to obey or you can choose to disobey.
Answer these questions:
What is more powerful than God?
What is more evil than Satan?
What is it rich people think they need?
What is it that poor people have plenty of?
What is it that if you eat it you'll die?
answer..............Nothing
What God cannot do
1.God cannot fail. Ephes 1:11
2.God cannot do evil. Titus 1:2
3. God cannot be temped. James 1:13-14
4. God cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2:13
5. God cannot be unjust. Romans 3:26
6. God cannot force loving obedience
forced love is NOT love at all.......
He has enabled us, We Love Him because HE first loved us !
we must say, I Will obey HIM !
