God is just and He will punish sin, God has mercy on who he has mercy and hardens who he hardens. I have not been saved because of who I am , but in spite of who I am. He either opens your eyes to His truth or He doesn't. I can't make someone believe anything, I can show you His truths, but only HE can open your eyes and ears to the Truth. if you do not know Him, I would do everything in my power to Seek Him and Know Him. God saves us ! It's not now just about our destination, which has been changed from hell to heaven , but our lives have been changed here and now so we can live our lives to the best of our ability, full of Joy and Love.(1st Corin 13) regardless of our circumstances.
We understand God is never changing, God is Soverign , not just when times are good, and kids aren't sick, or when mates die, or when people die tragically. God is God , God is All-Knowing, God is Omnipresent. God is God and we are not. We know He is in full control of our lives. And we have submitted our lives to Him. We have layed down our lives and picked up our crosses to follow HIM.
Coloss 2:8 "See to it that no one takes you captive through holllow and deceptive philosophy , that is based on the human traditions and the basic principals of this world rather than on Christ."
There is nothing you can do, nothing "man" can do ,to appease a Holy God. God saves sinners. From start to finish salvation is a work of God.
