Another life coming into this world is showered upon !

August 16th, Joel's mom Gwen and I , had a baby shower, for Sarah and baby Isaac, we had about 16 people, we played just one fun game, and had the ladies fill out an advise card or any encouraging words they had for Sarah.We had an amazing spread of food, ladies like chick food, so we had baby croissant sandwiches, pasta salad, and fruit salad! Yumm
Gwen made the favors, which were little "V" -neck onesies,as Sarah would say, a little daddy love, cause Joel really digs the V-neck onesies for his boy . We had lots of diaper raffle prizes, so after Sarah opened one gift, she would draw a raffle tickets, (keeping the ladies engaged !!!) Oh Yeah
I had a timeline, but didn't need one, (ok just a little OCD,) with the time- line, my sister and Gwen, were life WHat.... hehe( I just wanted
to keep it flowing ) We then proceeded to have a refreshing ice cold water bottle for everyone to take when they left, seeings it was about 105 degrees out there. OHH and I couldn't forget to mention the other special guest, miss Lilly! She was great, she helped mom open a few gifts and then get all shy.She even had a couple gifts herself ! She ate lots of good food, and everyone really enjoyed seeing her, especially Gwen's sisters, who don't get to see her to often.
And so now, we are just waiting on Isaac's arrival. It looks like the little guy is a little tiny right now, but Sarah has a good 5-7 weeks, for him to gain a couple pounds and bless us with his presence. We are all so excited for a little boy to come, there are no boys on my side of the family, it is time!
